What is Nemu?
Nemu is a minimal Night Light and soothing routine toolkit designed to support calm newborn settling routines.How does Nemu work?
Nemu guides you through a simple three-stage flow:
• Step 1. Walk for up to 5 minutes depending on your baby’s state. This activates the innate transport-response, a biological calming effect found in mammals—including humans—where carrying a crying infant reduces their heart rate and crying.
• Step 2. Sit and cuddle your baby for 8 minutes - this is our favourite stage! Researchers found that babies who were held close to their parents for 8 minutes had much lower heart rates and had entered deep sleep. This is crucial for the final step.
• Step 3. Place your baby back gently into their cot, feet first. Put a hand on their chest for reassurance before moving away.
Each stage uses soft colours designed for low-light nighttime environments.Does Nemu guarantee sleep?
No. Nemu is not a medical or sleep-training tool.

Yes. Nemu temporarily dims screen brightness and disables auto-lock during active timers to function as a Night Light.
